This is a really nice lot of 30 pieces of orange coral. You can see the pattern of the coral structure by looking on the ends.
I believe this type of coral typically comes from around the Mediterranean and South Asia.
This pieces are holed so they can be worn as a pendant or charm.
It could be carved into a different shape or cabbed. It looks sharp!
It is likely that this piece has undergone some kind of gemstone treatment, but I’m not sure which specific type (it may have undergone heating, oil, dying, or another treatment). Either way it is a great piece! Don’t pass it up!
