sitka
spruce props, 1200 watts peak @12 volts, 290 peak RPM before offset tail vanegovernor activates, 3 to 1 helical gear transmission, with 3 phase a/calternator. This is for off-grid use, for charging a 12 volt DC battery bank, with an inverter for A/C. This unit does not come with a controller, but other brands can beeasily obtained, and a speed sensor (blade rpm activating the field windings). The generator/gearbox weighs in at around 150 lbs- half the weightof a Jake (Jacobs). These units are recommended to be used in conjunction withRohn 25G guy wired towers or Rohn three legged self supporting towers, or anolder Wincharger self-supporting tower.
